A Humorous Verse – पत्नीद्वययुतो नरः – Man with two wives

बिलाद्बहिर्बिलस्यान्तः स्थितमार्जारसर्पयोः।
मध्ये चाखुरिवाभाति पत्नीद्वययुतो नरः॥

A man having two wives appears like a rat standing in between a cat outside its hole and a snake inside the hole.

Sir ! please let me know how to write these dev-naagari characters in Barah pad —-

    jnya,na(the cerebral one),sha(the cerebral one),and anusvaar ?

    thanks a lot !!!

    • Namaste Balram ji,

The baraha devanagari fonts are to be used thus to write the following:

      1. First press key ‘j’ (not shift j but lower case j)

      2. Second: press ‘shift tilda ~ [ the key next to number 1 on numerals row].

      3. Next press key j again (not shift j but lower case j)
      4. Now press key a

Now you have ज्ञ . को ज्ञास्यत् . If it is अज्ञास्यत्, you can type avagraha by pressing key for & in numerals row, 7.

For ‘Sha’ in usha, do this:

      1. press shift S and lower case h

      2. Next press a, now you get ष

For श , press s lower case and h lower case and key a.

      For anuswaar, do this:

      1. For example you want to type कुसुमं,

After typing म, without hitting space bar, shift and press key m. You will now get a dot on मं. Like this for any letter you have to press Shift m and the dot will appear.

      Hope this helps.

      adbhutam
